Men, Should You Get a PSA Test?

The American Cancer Society (ACS) recommends that men make an informed decision with their healthcare provider about whether to be screened by prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing for prostate cancer. You should decide after you’ve discussed with your physician the risks, uncertainties and potential benefits of the screening. The ACS recommends that men not undergo PSA screening unless they have discussed this information with their healthcare provider.
