Why Vaping is Bad for Teens

Despite what you may have heard from some sources, using e-cigarettes is in fact harmful to teens and young adults, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Vaping devices often contain nicotine, a highly addictive substance that can interfere with brain development in kids and young adults. Experts also point out that vaping reinforces behaviors that may lead to the use of cigarettes and other tobacco products in the future.

Talk to your kids about the dangers of vaping. The CDC website offers helpful resources to help parents have these discussions with their children.
